Online MBA Concentrations

Washington State University’s online MBA program now offers three leading-edge concentrations that allow students to immerse themselves in Marketing, Finance, or International Business. Each concentration consists of three elective courses that deliver nine total credit hours of focused instruction.

Marketing

The MBA Marketing concentration provides students with an in-depth look into the realm of marketing. Example electives within the marketing concentration include:

International Marketing

Explore opportunities, characteristics, and trends in foreign markets. Study alternative methods, strategies, organizational planning, and control. Learn about problems of adapting American marketing concepts and methods.

Consumer Behavior

This course investigates social processes affecting consumer decision-making and behavior. Models of consumer behavior are covered, as are the psychological phenomena of learning, motivation, and attitude development. The sociological influences of social class, reference groups and culture are also covered.

Advertising

Advertising history, as well as theory and practice by advertising agencies and organizations.

International Business

Through the International Business concentration, students are immersed into the ethical, global and societal implications of doing business in foreign markets. Example electives for the international business electives include:
