Jianli Hu, Ph.D.

Jianli Hu received her Ph.D. in operations management with a minor in operations research. She also holds an M.A. in apparel merchandising and a B.S. in clothing engineering. Her general research areas of interest involve supply chain management, e-commerce, logistics management, and inventory theory.

Hu has published in peer-reviewed journals including the European Journal of Operations Research, Journal of the Operational Research Society, Interfaces, and the International Journal of Procurement Management.

In addition to teaching, she has also worked as a consultant for private companies, including Alibaba Online and EDI China.
