Applications are currently being accepted for spring semester 2010
(part-time enrollment only).
Enrollment in the WSU Online MBA courses requires demonstration of competence in the MBA
Foundation coursework. As such, applicants must have completed the appropriate foundation
coursework from an AACSB accredited or approved business program prior to enrollment.
Applicants must have an average grade of B (3.0 on a 4.0 scale) for all courses with no more
than two grades below a B. The foundation courses (WSU undergraduate course equivalents are
in parentheses) are as follows:
| Financial Accounting (Acctg 230) |
Principles of Finance (Fin 325) |
| Managerial Accounting (Acctg 231) |
Statistics (MgtOp 215) |
| Business Law (BLaw 210) |
Operations Management (MgtOp 340) |
| Micro-Economics (Econs 101) |
Principles of Marketing (Mktg 360) |
| Macro-Economics (Econs 102) |
|
Course equivalency titles and grades will be evaluated by campus-based directors of the MBA
program and recorded in each applicant’s file. Applicants not meeting these foundation
course requirements will be required to demonstrate proficiency in these content areas prior
to enrollment (e.g., via coursework at a community college, CLEP, relevant and significant
work experience or completion of WSU PMBA foundation material). The Online MBA advisor will
counsel potential students on the most appropriate mechanism for meeting these MBA foundation
requirements.
